ARIES

Ariens fall into love record-breaking fast – they will be in love even before they know it. To some, it might look like they are rushing into it, but in an Arien’s mind, that is the normal speed. But all the same, how ever so much ecstatic they might feel, relative to the world they seem to be pushy. And that means they are pushy – and we all know that pushy messes things up in matters of love.

Being pushy carries on to another dimension of the relationship as well, namely the sexual. The Arien has so much passion and libido that he/she never seems to get out of the making-love-all-night-long stage. Now the thing with passion is that passion and consideration hardly go along with one another. So the partner might suffer and flinch and be unwilling to take the physical strain for so long for so many times, but the Arien just wants more and more. So the best way to curb such tendencies is to be aware of them, and talking one’s way through whenever one has a doubt whether the partner is ready to go to the same length that he/she is.

Another characteristic of their sexual personality is that the thing comes naturally to them. They have a beautiful love-instinct and know exactly how to express it. Because of their uncomplicated personalities, they always have things figured out and hardly ever have guilt-related issues after the act. Again, an important problem with Ariens is their selfishness. They do things that hurt their partner, and they don’t realize it. Ariens are meant for action, of whatever kind it might be. They will not sit down and work on routines and details. If you make them do that, they will cut corners and turn out to be horrible failures.

As much as Ariens like to be on the field, they also like to be in the midst of competition. The fiercer the competition, the harder they work and produce results. This is the basic reason why Ariens have a reputation for rising up to the occasion – they are comfortable only when they are fighting for every breath; normal slow life is not for them.

Two well known Principles of Physics are Wave Theory and Entrainment.
Wave Theory teaches us that a wave will continue to travel out, never changing its initial shape or frequency.
It also teaches us that when two waves intersect each other, the height of the effect is the sum of the heights of the two individual waves.
Entrainment is the tendency for two vibrating bodies to lock into phase so that they vibrate in harmony.

Dog mothers orphaned Lion and Tiger Cubs

Dog mothers orphaned cubs with her milk at China's Hefei Zoo.

A stray dog has saved the lives of three lion cubs and a tiger after becoming their surrogate mother at China's Hefei Zoo.
The black mongrel has been licking, cleaning and feeding the cubs since June after they were rejected by their mothers.
The facility's staff have successfully used canines in the past to raise abandoned big cats and bears.
The newborn animals are sprayed with dog urine to make the maternal animal think they belong to her.
She will reportedly feed her adopted babies for a month until they outgrow her milk supply.

The Most Powerful Eclipse of the Year 2009

Followed by the lunar eclipse on July 07th 2009, the most powerful eclipse for this year happens on 22nd July 2009. This eclipse is called as total solar eclipse and it is sixth total solar eclipse for this decade. A total eclipse occurs when the Sun is completely hidden by the Moon. The intensely bright disk of the Sun is replaced by the dark silhouette of the Moon, and the much fainter ring called corona is visible. This eclipse is a 6-minute plus eclipse—the longest of the 21st century.

The eclipse is seen initially in India and it traverses through Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and China and across the Pacific Ocean. Hence the major part of the eclipse occurs at eastern Asia, Indonesia and Pacific Ocean.

It is safe to observe the total phase of a solar eclipse directly with the unaided eye, binoculars or a telescope, when the sun is completely covered by the Moon. In fact this cannot be viewed thorough the filters as the light will be very dim. At this point of total solar eclipse the sun will be completely hidden and just a ring will visible which is nothing but the corona of the sun.

When the shrinking visible part of the photosphere becomes very small, Bailey’s beads will occur. It has been named so as the image formed because of the sun rays looks like beads. This is caused by the sunlight still being able to reach Earth through lunar valleys, but no longer where mountains are present. After this begins the Totality with the Diamond Ring Effect, which emits the last bright flash of sunlight.

A human first set foot on another world on July 20, 1969. This world was Earth's own Moon. In honor of today's 40th anniversary, NASA has released a digitally restored video of this milestone in human history. Pictured above is Neil Armstrong preparing to take the historic first step. On the way down the Lunar Module ladder, Armstrong released equipment which included the television camera that recorded this fuzzy image. Pictures and voice transmissions were broadcast live to a world wide audience estimated at one fifth of the world's population. The Apollo Moon landings have since been described as the greatest technological achievement the world has known.

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY June 5th 2009

World Environment Day (WED) was established by the UN General Assembly in 1972 to mark the opening of the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment.

Commemorated yearly on 5 June, WED is one of the principal vehicles through which the United Nations stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment and enhances political attention and action. The day's agenda is to:

1. Give a human face to environmental issues;
2. Empower people to become active agents of sustainable and equitable development;
3. Promote an understanding that communities are pivotal to changing attitudes towards environmental issues;
4. Advocate partnership which will ensure all nations and peoples enjoy a safer and more prosperous future.

The theme for WED 2009 is 'Your Planet Needs You-UNite to Combat Climate Change'. It reflects the urgency for nations to agree on a new deal at the crucial climate convention meeting in Copenhagen some 180 days later in the year, and the links with overcoming poverty and improved management of forests.

This year’s host is Mexico which reflects the growing role of the Latin American country in the fight against climate change, including its growing participation in the carbon markets.

Mexico is also a leading partner in UNEP's Billion Tree Campaign. The country, with the support of its President and people, has spearheaded the pledging and planting of some 25 per cent of the trees under the campaign.
