Happiness: a global priority

A profound shift in attitudes is underway all over the world. People are now recognising that

‘progress’ should be about increasing human happiness and wellbeing, not just growing the

economy at all costs. All 193 United Nations member states have adopted a resolution calling

for happiness to be given greater priority and March 20 has been declared as the International

Day of Happiness – a day to inspire action for a happier world.

2012 is Water Dragon Year. Dragon mainly contains Earth. Earth and Water are opposite elements. It seems that some bad news

will continue to arrive.  Dragon of 2012 also contains Water and Wood.  Dragons can hold Water and make it quiet.  If any

natural disaster happens in 2012, it might be related to water, flood, hurricane, rain, ocean, river or mud. Water is also

connected to Wisdom. We hope people will become wiser in 2012 and avoid fighting because of dispute, conflict, greed,

stubbornness or reputation.

Water calms the Dragon’s fire. Water Dragons are able to see things from other points of view. They don’t have the need to

always be right. Their decisions, if well-researched, are usually better since they allow other’s to become involved.

There is a unique alignment of the number 9 about to happen - on the ninth day of the ninth month of the year 2009 AD at the ninth one hundredth past the ninth second past the ninth minute of the ninth hour. The sum of these numbers consistently stays 11 – at whatever resolution of unit of time one may decide to stop.

Year = 2009 = 2 + 9 = 11
Year & Month = 2009 + 09 = 2018 = 2+1+8 = 11
Year & Month & Day = 2009 + 09 +09 = 2027 = 2 + 2 + 7 = 11
Year & Month & Day & Hours = 2009 + 09 + 09 + 09 = 2036 = 2 + 3 + 6 = 11
Year & Month & Day & Hours & Minutes = 2009 + 09 + 09 + 09 + 09 = 2045 = 2 + 4 + 5 = 11

The number 11 is a Master number. Master numbers are the only exception to rule of reducing to the single digit. The master numbers 11 and 22 are intensified versions of the single digit number they replace (2 and 4). These numbers suggest a potential for a high degree of learning and/or achievement very often in a more stressful environment. In many individuals, the master numbers operate at a much more tangible or practical level, becoming essentially the same as the single digit parallel.

While some may dismiss this occurrence as a mere coincidence of a man made calendar, this unique alignment of number 9 holds deep meaning for others. For occult calculations, the numbers 7 and 9 are considered the most important of all.

All those who predicted doomsday scenarios on 06 June 2006 still insist that they will be proven right sooner than later. They just had the numbers upside down - the alignment of nines in 999, they say, is a lot more potent than 666!

And this leads to some of the most controversial aspects of the Law of Attraction.

Say you got hit by a drunk driver on the way home from work. According to the Law of Attraction, you attracted that into your life.

Say your house was destroyed by a hurricane or earthquake. The Law of Attraction says – you deserved it. You’re responsible.

Skeptics say that the theory of the Law of Attraction falls apart when applied to real-life cases like the above, proving that it can’t be the great hidden “Secret” governing the universe.

When the "Storms of Life" gather darkly ahead,
I think of these wonderful words I once read....

And I say to myself as threatening clouds hover,
"Don't fold up your wings and run for cover."

But like the eagle, spread wide your wings
And soar far above the troubles Life brings.

For the eagle knows that the higher he flies,
The more tranquil and brighter become the skies.

And there is nothing in Life we were ever asked to bear
That we can't soar above on the Wings of Prayer.

And in looking back over the storm you passed through,
You'll find you gained strength and new courage, too.

For in facing Life's storms with an eagle's wings,
you can fly far above Earth's small, petty things.
